What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.

Seymour Beauty Aesthetics LLC (“Seymour Beauty,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at seymourbeautyaesthetics.com and the studio at 209 Opta Street, Maurice, LA 70555. This policy explains how we handle information about people who visit the site or contact us.
It covers our public website, contact, quiz, guide and chat forms, SMS messages and email. Information created while you are being treated is handled under our clinical privacy practices, which are provided to you in person at your visit.
What you give us. When you fill in a form, take a quiz, request a guide, use the chat widget or opt in to texts, we collect what you type: typically your name, mobile number, email address, and whatever you tell us about what you're interested in.
What's collected automatically. IP address, approximate city-level location derived from it, device and browser type, screen size, referring page, the pages you view and how far down them you scroll, how long you stay, the links and buttons you click, and timestamps. If you arrived from an ad or a link with tracking parameters attached, we record those parameters so we know which one worked.
Session recordings. Our analytics provider can replay an anonymised recording of a visit (mouse movement, scrolling and clicks) so we can see where the site is confusing. Everything typed into any field is masked before it leaves your browser, so form contents, chat messages and anything you write to us never appear in a recording. You can switch recordings off entirely under Cookie Preferences.
Cookies and local storage. First-party cookies and browser storage that make the site work, remember your privacy choices, and support the analytics described above. There is a full breakdown in the cookies section below.
To reply to you. To send what you asked for. To send appointment reminders, follow-ups and aftercare messages. To send offers and tips, but only if you separately opted in to that. To understand how the site is used and improve it. To measure which marketing brings people in. To show you relevant advertising on other sites, if you have left that switched on. And to meet our legal obligations.
We use PostHog for product analytics and session replay. PostHog acts as our service provider and processes this data on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not run advertising networks, data brokers or third-party ad pixels on this site today; if that ever changes, this page changes first.
Strictly necessary. Page delivery, form security, and remembering your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off, because switching them off is itself a preference we would have nowhere to store.
Analytics. Which pages get read, where people leave, whether a quiz gets finished. On by default, off in one click.
Advertising and retargeting. Lets us show you an ad later on another site. This is the category California law calls “sharing,” and turning it off is the same thing as a Do Not Sell or Share request.
Change any of this whenever you like. Use Cookie Preferences, which is also linked in the footer of every page. The same panel has a Delete my data from this browser button that clears every cookie, identifier and stored value this site put on your device, and resets your analytics ID so nothing further links back to it. Your browser's own cookie settings work too, and blocking cookies will not stop you using the site.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of sharing for advertising. It is applied automatically, on the first page you load, and you do not have to click anything.
If you opt in to SMS, you'll receive text messages from us at the number you provide. Depending on which boxes you ticked, that may include appointment reminders, follow-ups and aftercare, and, only if you opted in to marketing separately, promotional offers and skin tips. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your phone number.
The chat box in the corner of the site answers a short list of questions we wrote in advance. It is not an AI, it does not read your patient records, and it cannot give medical advice. If you ask it something it does not cover, it takes your question and your number so that Samantha can text you back herself. What you type there reaches a person, and should never be used for anything urgent or for clinical detail. For a medical concern, call the studio.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business (our booking platform, our CRM, the service that sends our email and texts, and our analytics provider) and only so they can perform that service for us, under contract, with no right to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to a successor if the business is ever sold. As above, SMS opt-in consent is never included in any of that sharing for marketing purposes.
Seymour Beauty Aesthetics is a cash-pay aesthetic practice. What you send us through this website, meaning your name, contact details and what treatment you're curious about, is not Protected Health Information under HIPAA. Records created in the course of treating you are, and those are governed by our clinical privacy practices rather than this page. Please do not send clinical detail, photographs of a medical concern, or anything you would consider sensitive through a web form or the chat widget.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. For texts, reply STOP and we stop. For cookies and analytics, use Cookie Preferences in the footer. To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email or call us using the details below and we'll take care of it.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to know what personal information we have collected about you and where it came from; to access a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it; to opt out of targeted advertising, of any sale, and of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects; and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of them. We will never charge you more, give you a worse service, or refuse to treat you because you asked.
How to make a request. Email or call us using the details at the bottom of this page and say what you want. There is no form to fill in. We will verify that the request really comes from you, usually by matching the email address or mobile number we already hold, and respond within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days if the request is complicated, in which case we will tell you before the first 45 days is up. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.
If we say no. You may appeal by replying to our decision. We will review it and write back with the outcome, and our reasons, within 45 days. If we still say no, most state laws let you complain to your state Attorney General, and we will give you the link.
California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, we confirm the following about the preceding twelve months: we collected the categories of personal information described in What we collect above (identifiers, internet and device activity, approximate geolocation, and commercial information about what you enquired about); we collected it from you and from your device; we used and disclosed it for the business purposes described in How we use it; and we did not sell personal information, and we did not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If we ever begin sharing for advertising, the Advertising toggle in Cookie Preferences is the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information mechanism required by law, and it works today, in advance.
Sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, so the right to limit its use does not arise. Health information created during treatment is held under our clinical privacy practices, not here.
Nevada, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws. The same rights and the same request route apply. Nevada residents may also submit a verified request that we not sell covered information; we do not sell it in the first place.
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes described here or as the law requires. As a rule of thumb: website analytics are kept for up to 24 months, session recordings for up to 30 days, and enquiry and contact records for as long as you are in touch with us and for three years afterwards. Clinical records are kept for the period Louisiana law requires, which is longer. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we will say so on the site.
